A New Era for Endeavour College with $35 Million Expansion

Endeavour College is excited to share that the City of Salisbury has granted development approval for a major $35 million expansion. This project will transform our Mawson Lakes campus and mark a new era in our educational journey.

We will soon be opening enrolments for Reception to Year 6 students for the first time, creating a seamless R–12 learning pathway and expanding our commitment to holistic, values-based education. If you wish to explore enrolments further, please email enrolments@endeavour.sa.edu.au

Principal Richard Baird described the development as the most significant milestone in the College’s 27-year history. “For the first time, we will provide a complete and seamless educational pathway from the early years to Year 12, something we know is highly sought after by families,” he said. “With a focus on sustainability, technology, and innovation, we will inspire and support students from the very start of their school journey within a values-based and nurturing environment.” Board Chair Leanne Ridsdale said the expansion was an investment in students, community, and the future of the region. “This is more than a building project. It’s a promise to serve students, families, and the community for generations to come,” she said.“With strong population growth in the northern suburbs, we’re investing in the educational
infrastructure that families need.”

Key features of the new R–6 precinct
• 14 contemporary general learning areas
• Specialist STEM and enrichment spaces
• A dedicated library and resource hub
• Purpose-built music tutorial rooms
• Outdoor play and learning areas
• A central, multi-purpose hall for assemblies, performances, sport, and community events

In addition, a new pedestrian-only footbridge across Mawson Lakes Boulevard will provide safe and secure access between the two campuses. It will reduce traffic congestion and eliminate the need for young students to cross a busy road.

Planning for the future

Construction is set to begin soon with Mossop Construction + Interiors appointed to deliver the project. The new junior school will accommodate 378 students across two streams in its first year of operation.

This development is about more than just new buildings. By expanding our facilities and welcoming younger students, we’re responding to the needs of our growing community, securing the College’s future, and providing enhanced opportunities for all. Our commitment to maintaining strong links with the Lutheran community and the Connected Schools network remains central to this development. With a focus on aligning with 21st-century educational practices, these plans reinforce Endeavour College as a leader in holistic, faith-based
education.
