Principal’s Welcome

We acknowledge that our loving Creator, God first gave the land on which we are placed to the peoples of the First Nations. We acknowledge and pay our respects to the Kaurna people, the Traditional Custodians of the Ancestral Lands on which we live, work and learn. We acknowledge the deep attachment and relationship of the Kaurna people to Country and acknowledge the care they have given, and continue to give, to the Land. We pay our respects to the Kaurna people and Elders past and present and emerging.

Here at Endeavour College we believe in the possibility of the future and the extraordinary capabilities of the next generation. We strive to create a vibrant learning community that values all the varied and rich members of our Australian society. As a Christian school we seek to exemplify the values of genuine Christian leadership; those of inclusivity, grace, forgiveness and love. We understand that it is only when students feel valued, safe and cared for that they will thrive.

Endeavour College seeks to create a lifelong love of learning in the way we engage with our students. Our classrooms are active and vibrant places, and our teachers understand that great relationships with students are vital to successful learning. Equally, we know that our classrooms need to cater for all kinds of learners whatever their individual needs.

In our ever-changing world, and with the pervasive intrusion of the internet into all aspects of our lives, we understand that life also needs to be embraced in the real world! Beyond the classroom Endeavour College has a wide range of camps, sport, drama, music and other extracurricular activities to help students find their passion. We know that working outside the classroom helps students to grow in brilliant and unexpected ways. It builds emotional intelligence, personal resilience, and develops real world coping strategies that guard against mental health issues. We also know that some of a student’s best memories will be remembering the amazing times they had with their friends!

It is an honour to be the Principal of such an exciting and caring College and to be part of helping our young people grow and fulfil their amazing potential. There is no greater privilege than to help our students become the amazing people God intended them to be.

I look forward to welcoming you and your family into our wonderful school community.

Richard Baird, Principal
