We are fortunate to have a bus that operates a service between Good Shepherd Lutheran Primary School and Endeavour College. You can access the bus route here for this service. All bookings and payment for this service is via BusMinder.

For the bus service between Good Shepherd Lutheran Primary and Endeavour College, we use BusMinder App and here’s why… As a parent, BusMinder Parent app enables you to view the real-time location of your child’s bus, their boarding location, and whether your child is on board. Bus Passes will be managed through the secure BusMinder app. Please read on for some Q&A information about BusMinder.
How do I install and use the app?
The secure, user-friendly BusMinder Parent app can be downloaded from the Apple App Store (for Apple devices) or Google Play Store (for Android devices).
Setting up the Parent app
To assist you in setting up your parent app, we have attached a copy of the Parent app guide, this includes routes, live tracking, adding an absence, booking though the app, and making payments in the app. Below is a link to the Parent APP Guide:

- Here are a few quick tips for setting up and using the app:
To set up BusMinder on your phone, download the app and click on Login, then ‘Forgot your password?’. This will enable you to set your own password. - Once you have logged in, you will be asked whether the app should be allowed to send you notifications. We strongly encourage you to allow notifications to enable you to see the location of the bus in real-time, which will help you determine the appropriate time to drop your child(ren) at the pick-up location, or to meet the bus in the afternoon.
- BusMinder can also alert you when your child boards the bus in the morning and boards and alights the bus in the afternoon.
- The Parent app also contains an alert feature that can be used to send push notifications to your smartphone if a bus is running late, has been replaced or is not running that day (for example in the event of Catastrophic Fire conditions), please do not log out of the app.
How to top up your Parent account & make a payment

Bus Passes passes pricing – AS OF 16 DECEMBER 2024?
Passes can be brought through the parent payment app. Term, Semester, Yearly passes are available.

Terms and Conditions:
- Families can book for their preference for the type of Pass they need in Bus Minder
- A Term pass can be booked up until the end of the first week of each term (e.g. Term 1 begins January 29 2025, and the Term 1 Pass can be booked up until February 4 2025. After that the bookings for that term are closed.)
- For families who have booked per term and their child is on a camp 5 days or longer, the charge will be credited to their Bus Minder account to be used for future bookings.
- 1-4 day excursions/camps, or student absence, is not credited on their account.
- If a student wishes to travel as a ‘one-off’ then this trip will be logged by swiping their ID card when boarding the bus and the charge will be $3.50 per trip. Parents will be asked to purchase a pass if a student is regularly catching the school bus without a pre-purchased pass.
- If a student has taken had more trips than the Term pass purchased, then these additional trips will be calculated at the end of the term and charged as a Casual $3.50 per trip.
- Parents are expected to book their days in the app to receive notifications, and to notify the bus driver which stop their student will be boarding/departing.
- Parents are encouraged to ‘Add Absence’ in the app to communicate with bus driver if their student is away so the driver is aware.
- Sibling discounts will be added as credits to parent accounts.
- Term pass prices will not vary between Terms, and they take into consideration public holidays and student free days.
- Emails will be sent to alert parents that they have a negative balance to be paid to the College.
- Parents of Year 12 students are encouraged to purchase passes to cover the smaller number of trips needed in Term 4. Any remaining balance will be r

How to set up Booking using the Parent APP
Parents can now book their students on a route and stop via the parent app. Beginning at the route screen, then selecting their student, then onto the calendar and then confirmation. You can follow the steps via the app or see a short video below:

How does the system work/what will my child need to do?
Student ID cards can be used as BusMinder cards. Campus students will be issued with a dedicated BusMinder card, which they can collect from the School Office. New to the College and don’t yet have your ID card? No problems! Simply instruct your child to let the bus driver know when they board the bus, and they will manually check you in until you receive your ID card.
Please note: It is important that students have their ID Card with them each time they travel and that they tap on in the morning and then tap on and off in the afternoon.
As students board the bus, they tap their Student ID card or BusMinder card against the BusMinder unit which records their name or Student Id Number, location and boarding time. This ‘tap’ will provide parents with information that their student(s) have boarded or departed the bus via the BusMinder app notification.
All student ‘Tap On’ and ‘Tap Off’ information is available to the College in real-time.
