The impact for the College

How will this benefit secondary students?

hile the expansion is designed to support the broader community, there are clear and immediate benefits for secondary students. Becoming a Reception to Year 12 college strengthens school pride and identity, with students increasingly seeing Endeavour as their long-term educational home.

It also supports continued investment in facilities, programs and co-curricular opportunities, which directly enhance the secondary school experience now and into the future.

Importantly, the third floor of the new Junior School building has been designed specifically for secondary students. These spaces are being developed to a high standard, supporting contemporary teaching practices and strong learning outcomes.

Will the introduction of a Junior School change the academic focus or standards of the College?

No. Our academic focus and standards in the Secondary School will remain strong.

In fact, the addition of a Junior School will further strengthen our academic standards over time.

As students progress from the Junior Years into Senior school, they will already be familiar with our learning approach, expectations, and culture. This continuity supports a smoother transition into secondary schooling and allows students to engage more confidently and consistently in their learning from the outset.

Enrolments

When will enrolments open?

At this present moment we have no known date in which we can formally accept enrolments; however, parents can express an interest online.

Once enrolments do open, we’ll be ready to communicate that with those who have completed an expression of interest submission immediately.

Will there still be entry points at Year 7 for new students?

Yes. Year 7 will remain a key entry point for new students.

We anticipate strong interest from families within our Connected Schools community, who will be given priority access as part of their existing relationship with the College.

We do encourage all prospective families to express their interest early, as demand for those remaining Year 7 places is expected to grow.

Construction and timing

Is the Junior School on track?

Yes, the Junior School build is progressing well and remains on track.

The College is taking a considered and strategic approach to ensure everything is in place to deliver a high-quality learning environment from day one.

When will construction take place?

Construction will occur in line with council regulations, typically during standard working hours (Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 6:00pm, and Saturdays where required).

Will construction be noisy?

Some noise is expected during construction. Work will be managed within approved limits, with efforts made to minimise disruption where possible.

Traffic and access

How will traffic be managed during construction?

A traffic management plan is in place to reduce impact, including:

  • Designated construction access routes
  • Temporary adjustments to parking where required
  • Ongoing monitoring and adjustments as needed

How will traffic be managed once the Junior School opens?

Traffic planning is underway with traffic engineers. This includes:

  • Optimised drop-off and pick-up zones
  • A new internal driveway
  • Encouraging public transport use for older students
  • Improvements to local traffic flow where required

These measures are designed to improve long-term traffic movement and safety around the College.

Safety

What safety measures will be in place?

The construction site will be securely fenced, with clear signage and controlled access points. All contractors are required to follow strict safety protocols.

Will students need to cross busy roads?

No. A pedestrian-only footbridge will connect the Junior School to the main campus, providing safe and direct access between sites.

Community access

Access to surrounding walkways and public areas will be maintained where possible. Any temporary changes will be clearly communicated in advance.
