Academic Scholarships
We are excited to introduce, in conjunction with the Australian Council for Educational Research (ACER), the Academic Scholarships program at Endeavour.
Endeavour College enjoys a proud tradition of academic excellence and seeks to support and promote talented young people to fully achieve their God-given gifts and abilities. We are pleased to offer scholarships to academically talented existing students to continue their education at the College. Applicants sit the ACER Scholarship Examination.
The Academic Scholarship is for Year 9 students entering into Year 10 and is awarded to cover 25% to 50% of tuition fees. In addition to their scholarship requirements, all scholarship recipients at Endeavour College are expected to actively participate in a minimum of two (2) co-curricular activities offered within the College.
A limited number of scholarships will be awarded based on the examination, portfolio review and interview. Scholarships are awarded at the sole discretion of the Principal.
It is important to note that schools do not share scholarship results with one another. Candidates must sit the Academic exam at Endeavour College on the set date to be eligible.
Furthermore, a scholarship awarded by Endeavour College forms a confidential arrangement between the College and the family and must not be discussed with other parties. If confidentiality is broken, the scholarship may be revoked.
It should be noted that if the student were to transfer to another school before the end of Year 12, parents will be required to repay the scholarship percentage received from commencement to the conclusion of the student’s enrolment.
Scholarships apply to tuition fees only and do not apply to levies or other costs e.g. uniforms.
Eligibility to apply: Current Endeavour College Year 9 students who are Australian citizens or Permanent Residents. The Scholarship will be awarded on the results of the Scholarship Examination.
Decisions: The awarding of a scholarship and financial subsidy of each scholarship shall be determined by the Principal. The offer will not be open to negotiation. Scholarship offer limits are set at 50%.
Tenure: The tenure of the Scholarship is for Years 10-12
Scholarships will be reviewed each semester and are subject to continued excellence in academic performance and adherence to the College policies and procedures. Recipients will be required to meet high academic standards each semester and to participate in the cocurricular program offered by the College.
Fees: The entry fee for candidates taking the examination via Australian Council for Educational Research (ACER) is $140, payable to ACER upon registration. There is no refund for scholarship candidates who absent themselves from the examination.
Registration: Candidates must register their scholarship application online with all required documentation by the closing date.
