Meet the Board

Board members bring diverse professional experience across education, governance, finance, healthcare, engineering, ministry, public policy and community leadership. This breadth of expertise helps guide decision-making and supports the long-term success of the College.

Chairperson, Leanne Ridsdale

Leanne has been an integral part of the connected schools community since 2005, initially serving as a council member of the Salisbury Lutheran Kindergarten. Over a span of six years, she held the position of chairperson on the Kindergarten council before concluding her tenure in 2013. Transitioning to the Endeavour College Board in 2014 from Salisbury Lutheran Church, Leanne now serves as the Chairperson of the Endeavour College Board. Her expertise lies in leadership, governance, quality assurance, risk management, and human resources.

Maintaining the strong relationship between supporting congregations and Endeavour College is crucial, and Leanne's collaboration with LLSNV ensures that the Lutheran identity remains a cornerstone at Endeavour. Currently, she holds the position of Chairperson at her congregation, Salisbury Lutheran Church.

In addition to her community involvement, Leanne brings over 32 years of experience in healthcare, with roles ranging from Registered Nurse to positions such as Project Lead, Director of Clinical Services, Clinical Services Coordinator, and Clinical Manager. She has also gained international experience, including working in the United Kingdom.

Presently, Leanne serves as the Residential Services Manager at a large Residential Aged Care Facility. Both of her children have either attended or are currently attending Endeavour College.

Outside of her professional and community commitments, Leanne enjoys spending quality time with her husband and boys, engaging in activities such as watching basketball, outdoor excursions, and quiet moments at home on weekends.
