“I really enjoyed Outdoor Ed in Year 10 and have good memories of the kayaking camp” Anna Grosse, Class of 2009.
These once in a lifetime moments are designed to reinforce concepts and relationship building opportunities with peers and teachers in a more relaxed setting. Camps are always fondly remembered, long past graduation.
Year 7 Camp
Includes team building projects and adventurous activities such as rock wall climbing, archery and canoeing.
Year 8 Activity Days
Two fun filled days of activities are offered in lieu of a camp. ‘Discovery Day’ is a mind expanding day based around learning in the outdoors. ‘Adventure Day’ is a more daring visit to the Mega Adventure Park and The Beach House
Year 9 Camp
‘The Adventure Camp’ provides an opportunity for students to experience the raw, natural beauty of The Grampians. Students are given opportunities to try new activities and push themselves outside of their comfort zones to experience immense personal growth over the week. Activities on offer include: Hiking, Rock Climbing, Abseiling, Mountain Biking, Low & High Ropes, Indigenous Activities and a Solo Camping experience.
Year 10 Health and Wellbeing Days
A series of workshops and activities that give students strategies to deal with changes as they transition from childhood to adulthood. Topics such as violence, drugs, cyber safety and driver education are addressed by guest speakers.
Year 11 Camp
An insightful interstate trip to Melbourne gives students the opportunity to broaden their study across several historical and cultural localities.
Year 12 Retreat
Teachers at Endeavour College recognise that the final year of secondary schooling is a challenging year for our students, so we take them on a three day retreat where we encourage relaxation, mentoring, reflection and reassurance.
