Teddy Bears’ Picnic
On Thursday 2 November our Year 9 Food Technology class hosted a Teddy Bears’ Picnic for pre-school aged children and grandchildren of our staff.
It was a real joy to see the children enjoying the food and games the class had prepared for them. The Year 9s spent a lot of time thinking about food choices that would be appealing to young children whilst being as healthy as possible. They also were able to re-live their own childhoods by thinking about games they had enjoyed when they were young.
It was particularly entertaining to see three Year 9 boys trying to control a game of Duck, Duck, Goose! Overall, it was a very successful event and the students should be very proud of what they achieved.
