Year 9 Voyage “The Departure” and Parent Info Session
The Departure Ceremony signifies the beginning of The Voyage program for 2017 with a time where parents are informed about the significant themes of the program, the Voyage teachers are introduced and the parents are given an opportunity to give their blessing for the year. The main focus of the Voyage is the journey from adolescence to adulthood, part of this will be ‘letting go’ of adolescence to grow towards adulthood. This concept will be symbolized with a ceremony during the night.
